Thomas 'Tom' Scott, 75,
Father of 9, Grandfather of 17 boys
Thomas "Tom" Scott, of Aldan, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at age 75.

He was a loving and devoted husband to Eleanor, father of 9 and grandfather of 17 boys.

A lifelong resident of Delaware County, Tom graduated from Clifton Heights High School in 1956, where he played football.

Tom especially loved Clifton football memorabilia at the Broadway Cafe.
Tom enjoyed fishing, running, hunting and the beach. Loved by all who had the pleasure to know him, Mr. Scott was an active member of the community, serving on the board of directors for the Aldan Swim Club and the 4th of July Parade Committee.

He organized the Battle of Bands, coached the Boys Club red baseball team, was Scout Master of Troop #60, a jolly Santa for the Aldan Boosters, fundraiser He was football coach for Saint Joseph's Church in Collingdale.

Mr. Scott was named the Aldan Boosters "Man of the Year." A highly regarded insurance professional, Tom was employed by S. E. Goodstein before joining Coburn/USI Insurance.

Tom was predeceased by his mother and father, Catherine (Yarnall) and Thomas Scott.

Survivors: His beloved wife of 57 years, Eleanor (Mucha); his sister Lynne Shields (Jack) of Emerald Isle, NC; his nine children: Debbie Brouillette (Ned), Elaine Zeitz (Jeff), Cindy Brumbaugh (Howard), Karen Beth (Larry Howley), Thomas, Michael (Michelene), Lisa Crossen (John), Jim (Aaron Damiani), and Melissa O'Connor (Dan); and his 17 grandsons: Benjamin, Bryan, Ned, Matthew, Michael, Christopher, Cullen, John, Nicholas, Aaron, Eric, Dan, Scotty, Tommy, Zach, Josh and Jaime.

Viewing: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, January 14, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., St. Joseph's Church, 500 Woodlawn Avenue, Collingdale, PA 19023. Mass of Christian Burial: January 14, 11 a.m., St. Joseph's Church, 500 Woodlawn Avenue, Collingdale, PA 19023.

Interment: Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA
